In the face of this issue, most countries call for stricter conservation of natural resources. This is indeed an urgent requirement. But just relying on conservation is not enough. Even if we save a large amount of energy, we can only put off the energy crisis, not solve it thoroughly. It is universally acknowledged that humans are highly adaptable and creative. Since we can make use of resources like oil and metal, why not develop and utilize solar energy, nuclear energy, and other potential energy sources?

Incidents of gang fights and peer bullying on campus are frequently reported. In light of this situation, to combat campus violence, I believe the most effective approach is to establish a proactive counseling mechanism staffed with caseworkers and psychological experts.

Instead of waiting for violence to occur, we should proactively look for warning signs and identify potential offenders. It is necessary for potential offenders to be obliged to engage in mandatory counseling. Through professional interventions, their violent tendencies can be gradually and systematically addressed. Moreover, this counseling mechanism is also available to potential victims. Typically, fearing retaliation, victims stay silent. With such a mechanism in place, they can readily seek guidance and support.

In summary, campus-based counseling is crucial for preventing, intervening in, and eradicating violence.

Nowadays, the booming of cultural tourism has caused a heated debate about its impact on culture. Some worry that too much tourism might destroy traditions. Others think it benefits culture as it offers money for cultural protection and spreads local culture.

In my opinion, tourism has both positive and negative effects on culture. On one hand, protecting traditional culture and restoring historical sites need a lot of money, which is a big financial burden for local governments. Tourism can help with this. On the other hand, when culture is used for making money, the government and travel agencies may only focus on profitable cultural projects and overlook those with equal value but less profit. This could harm cultural diversity.

In short, tourism is a double - edged sword for local culture. Thus, we should build a good and beneficial relationship between cultural protection and tourism development.
